Judith Airiohuodion appointed as Bisi Alimi Foundation’s Executive Director

Dec 16, 2024

To Our Esteemed Supporters and the General Public,

With great pleasure, we announce Judith Airiohuodion as the new Executive Director (ED) of the Bisi Alimi Foundation. She will succeed Bisi Alimi, our current Executive Director and Founder.

Bisi AlimI, Founder, Bisi Alimi Foundation

Bisi Alimi is leaving the Foundation after 10 years. Under his leadership, the Foundation achieved significant milestones, including expanding our LGBTQ+ advocacy programmes across Nigeria and West Africa, growing our stakeholders and donors, and the worldwide recognition of the Bisi Alimi Foundation. We are deeply grateful for Bisi’s dedication, passion, and tireless commitment to advancing equality and inclusion in Nigeria, and wish him well in his future endeavours.
There is still a lot to do, and though Bisi Alimi will be moving on to a new venture, we are sure that we will continue to benefit from his wise counsel.

As of January 2025, Judith Airiohuodion will take over as the Executive Director for the Bisi Alimi Foundation. Judith Airiohuodion is no stranger to the Foundation and its mission, having served as the Country Director of the Bisi Alimi Foundation for three years in Nigeria before relocating to the UK. She was instrumental in the foundation’s growth in Nigeria, building grassroots partnerships and supporting our highly impactful programmes.
